She now lives with her husband “Bart” on a farm near Millet, tending to the family’s herd of Red Angus cows, horses, and a multitude of dogs and cats of her own. Erin Redekop AHT
Erin Redekop grew up on an acreage near a small town called Czar, AB. As soon as she was old enough, the daily care of the family pets became her responsibility. An array of chickens, geese, horses, cows, dogs and many barn cats all took their turn making a home of the Redekop residence. When she grew up and graduated from high school she went to a dog grooming school located in Leduc. Following the completion of that program she bought a house in her home town and started an at home grooming business. 4 years later, with her business still going strong, she decided a change of atmosphere was in order and attended the Animal Health Technology course at Lakeland College in Vermilion AB. In April 2010, she graduated with distinction and has now chosen the Wetaskiwin Animal Clinic to spread her wings and develop new skills.

Breanne Van Geerenstein
Breanne graduated from Lakeland College Vermilion in 2010. Growing up in Wetaskiwin on a purebred and commercial cattle farm and with 10 years of 4-H behind her, she grew fond of the large animal aspect of medicine. In college Breanne competed in the rodeo circuit, in barrel racing with her mare Bamboo. Also having 2 more horses at home to train and exercise she is very busy and loves working with her equine friends. Breanne had been working here for 4 years before becoming an AHT, three years as a high school student to gain work experience hours and then working as a college student for a year to further her education and experience.  Her main interests in the animal health technology field are large animal medicine, hematology and cytology in the labs, small animal and equine dentistry and client education.
